Ibn Haldun University, ISType, Justus- Liebig Giessen University and Manifold are organizing a symposium titled " Symposium on Armenians in The Early Modern Ottoman Empire". Prof. Suraiya Faroqhi, Professor of History at Ibn Haldun University, and Prof. Levon Zekiyan, Archbishop of the Armenian Catholics of Turkey will be the special guests of the event.

Dr. Henry Shapiro from Ibn Haldun University, Dr. Murat Cankara from Social Sciences University of Ankara, Dr. Polina Ivanova from Justus Liebig Giessen University, Dr. Anna Ohanjanyan from Mesrop Mashtots Research Institute for Ancient Manuscripts, Dr. Cesare Santus from Trieste University, Dr. Onur Yazıcıgil from Sabancı University and Erin Pinon from Princeton University will be the speakers. Audrey Wozniak from Harvard University will give a musical performance at the event, which will be held on Saturday, February 3, between 13.00 - 19.00 at Salis Madrasa, Süleymaniye Campus.
