As part of the History Department’s "History Talks Fall '24" series, Dr. Nir Shafir from the Department of History at the University of California, San Diego, will give a talk on his new book, just out from Stanford University Press: The Order and Disorder of Communication: Pamphlets and Polemics in the Seventeenth-Century Ottoman Empire. His iecture will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, in the Teoman Duralı Conference Hall.
