As part of the "History Talks Fall ‘24", Assoc. Prof. Daniel Majchrowicz, an expert in Urdu language from the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures at Northwestern University, will deliver a speech titled "The Begum who wished to be a Hanım: An Indian Muslim Woman Traveler in Late Ottoman Istanbul." The event will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Süleymaniye Salis Madrasah.
