A new volume co-edited by Dr. Giorgios Theotokis, an assistant professor of Medieval - Byzantine military history at Ibn Haldun University’s Department of History, and Dr. Mamuka Tsurtsumia from Georgia, has been published by E. J. Brill, a renowned and long-established academic publisher in the Netherlands.
This edited work, titled “Nikephoros II Phokas and Warfare in the 10th-Century Byzantine World”, contains a series of distinguished articles focusing on the military theory, tactics, equipment, and war ideology of the era it addresses. With this work, the number of books edited or authored by Dr. Theotokis and contributed to the international academic field has reached ten.
