The fourth International Süleymaniye Symposium entitled “The Mughal Empire: New Sources, New Approaches” will be held on September 16-18 in the historical Süleymaniye complex, with the financial support of TİKA. It aims to bring together local and foreign experts working on the history of the Baburid (Mughal) Empire, which ruled modern-day India and its vicinity between 1526 and 1858 and examine its history in light of recent discussions and new sources.

Due to the limited capacity of the conference hall, online participation in the symposium is encouraged.
